For us, sustainable corporate management means doing business in such a way that we always act responsibly in all areas. At the same time, however, we must maintain the competitiveness of our company in the long term.
We not only assume this responsibility ourselves, but also pass it on to our suppliers and business partners in the form of a Code of Conduct and guidelines for sustainable procurement. We ensure that our company will continue to exist in the future with modern digitalization projects and our apprenticeship programs.
Sustainable procurement
We focus on regional and sustainable purchasing. This applies to all areas – from our raw material wood to energy, services and much more. We only work with suppliers and business partners who share our values in terms of social responsibility and have defined this in our guidelines for sustainable procurement.
It is part of our corporate responsibility to comply with applicable laws always and everywhere, to respect basic ethical values and to act sustainably. With the Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners, we have imposed binding guidelines for responsible business practices.
As a third-generation family business, we know how important young talent is. At our two locations we are currently offering apprenticeships in five different professions, to ensure that our apprentices of today become the skilled workers of tomorrow.
Digitization
Digitized processes not only ensure our long-term competitiveness, they also offer the opportunity for further development and optimization. With the “Connect” project, we are pursuing the goal of creating the basis for Industry 4.0 concepts with a future-proof ERP system.
